POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Thank you for choosing Touch of Grace Designs and Photography for your portrait photography needs. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience, please review the following policies and procedures. By booking a session, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Booking & Payment
Scheduling: Sessions are booked via email or social media.
Retainer: For sessions, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to secure your session date and time. For weddings a $500 non-refundable retainer is due at the time of contract signing to secure your date. This retainer is applied toward your total session/package fee.
Balance: The remaining balance is due at the time stated on your invoice. For sessions this is typically the day of your session, and for weddings, this is typically 3 weeks before your date. The final due date will be stated in your contract and may vary based on your package.
Confirmation: Session dates are not considered confirmed until the retainer has been received.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Rescheduling: Clients are permitted one reschedule per session, provided a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is given.
Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance forfeit the retainer and are not eligible for rescheduling.
Multiple Cancellations: After one reschedule, clients who cancel again will not be able to book future sessions.
Turnaround & Delivery
Editing: Professionally edited digital images will be delivered within 3 to 4 weeks of your session and 8 to 10 weeks of your wedding, but can vary based on certain circumstances. The exact turnaround will be specified in your contract.
Delivery: Images will be provided in a secure online gallery, with high-resolution downloads included for personal use.
Image Use & Copyright
Usage Rights: All images are delivered for personal use only. Commercial use, resale, or distribution is not permitted without express written consent.
Alterations: Clients may not alter, edit, crop, or apply filters to the final images in any way.
Copyright: Touch of Grace Designs and Photography retains full copyright to all photographs and reserves the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise specified in writing.
Travel & Location
Primary Location: Sessions are primarily conducted in and around Morris, Illinois.
Travel Areas: Travel within Illinois, as well as select areas of Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, and Wisconsin are available upon request. Additional travel fees may apply based on distance and time.
Weather-Related Rescheduling
Outdoor Sessions: In the event of inclement weather, outdoor sessions may be rescheduled at no additional cost. Clients will be notified as early as possible, and efforts will be made to accommodate a new date.
Client-Initiated Rescheduling: If a client requests to postpone a session due to weather conditions, any fees paid will be non-refundable. The client will have up to 30 days to reschedule the session.
Late Arrivals
Punctuality: Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled session.
Late Arrivals: If a client arrives more than 15 minutes late, the session time will be reduced accordingly, and no additional time will be added to accommodate the delay.
No Shows: Clients who do not show up for their session without prior notice will forfeit the retainer and may not be eligible to book future sessions.
Print Release
Included Files: Clients receive high-resolution digital images for personal use.
Print Rights: A print release is included, allowing clients to print images at their discretion. However, clients are advised to use professional printing services to ensure the best quality.
Restrictions: The print release does not permit the sale, commercial use, or alteration of images in any way.
